    Understanding the real-time financial dashboard

The financial dashboard gives you a live view of your operation's revenue, costs, and profitability. It updates in real-time as jobs are completed and invoices are generated.

    Dashboard overview

The main dashboard shows four key metrics at the top: total revenue (current month), outstanding invoices, labor costs, and gross margin percentage. Below these are trend charts and breakdowns by crew, property, and service type.

    Revenue tracking

Revenue is tracked from invoices generated in Grounds Manager. If QuickBooks is connected, payment status is reflected in real-time — so you can see which invoices are paid, pending, or overdue.

Tip: Use the date range selector to compare performance across months or quarters. This is especially useful for identifying seasonal patterns and planning crew capacity.

    Cost analysis

Labor costs are calculated from time tracking data. The dashboard shows cost per job, cost per property, and cost per crew — helping you identify which accounts are profitable and which need repricing.

    Exporting reports

All dashboard data can be exported as CSV or PDF reports. Go to the dashboard and click "Export" in the top-right corner. You can customize the date range, metrics, and grouping before exporting.

Warning: Financial data relies on accurate time tracking. If crews aren't clocking in and out consistently, the cost and margin figures won't reflect reality.
