Uploading job photos and completion notes

Job photos and completion notes are critical for property manager compliance — especially when syncing to portals like ServiceChannel. Here's how your crews capture and upload this data.

    Taking photos during a job

When a crew member starts a job in the mobile app, they can take photos directly from the job screen. The app supports before, during, and after photo categories.

    Photo best practices:

    • Take at least one before and one after photo per property
    • Include wide-angle shots that show the full scope of work
    • Close-up shots of any issues or damage should be documented
    • Photos are automatically timestamped and geotagged

    Adding completion notes

After completing the work, crew members can add text notes describing what was done, any issues encountered, and follow-up items. These notes are visible to office staff and can be included in client reports.

Tip: Encourage crews to note anything unusual — a broken sprinkler head, a gate that won't lock, debris from a storm. This protects you and builds trust with property managers.

    Portal sync

When portal sync is enabled, photos and notes are automatically uploaded to the relevant portal (ServiceChannel, etc.) as part of the job completion workflow. No manual uploading required.
